3iQ Corp, a global leader in digital asset investment solutions and one of the largest investment fund managers solely focused on digital assets in Canada, has some exciting news to share. The Solana Fund has recently filed a preliminary prospectus with securities regulatory authorities in all Canadian provinces and territories, excluding Québec. The Fund is planning to conduct an initial public offering of Class A units and Class F units (the “Offering”). In addition, 3iQ has submitted an application to list the Class A units of the Fund on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) with the ticker symbol “QSOL“.
SOL is the native digital asset of the Solana blockchain, known for its high-performance decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts. Often considered a contender to Ethereum, Solana boasts impressive transaction speeds and scalability.
3iQ’s history of leadership and innovation in digital assets includes launching The Bitcoin Fund (TSX: QBTC) and The Ether Fund (TSX: QETH) as the first publicly traded bitcoin and ether funds in Canada. Additionally, The Ether Fund and the 3iQ Ether Staking ETF (TSX: ETHQ) became the first ETPs in North America to include staking ether as part of their investment strategies.
“3iQ seeks to set a global standard of excellence,” said Greg Benhaim of 3iQ. “We’re proud to work closely with securities regulatory authorities to responsibly enhance the digital asset investment landscape in Canada.”
